And speaking of nuclear mistakes. Iran's missiles currently have a 1,200 mile range. Which means that should Iran aquire nuclear warhead capability, not only could Israel easily be hit, but so could parts of Europe and anywhere in the Middle East.
Yes, if Iran were to nuke anyone, they would be wiped off the map for sure. But should anyone nuke anyone in the middle east, you will see oil shipments disrupted world wide, and probably a complete collapse of the world economy. Not to mention the possible exchanges of additional nukes between neighboring countries, depending and who nukes whom and who retaliates. A very very ugly scenario that I would not like to see happen.
The question is, would Iran do it? I believe the current regime would. I'm not willing to find out the hard way that I'm right. Are others willing to find out the hard way that I may be right?
