My brother forwarded me an article today about "yellow cake" from Iraq, recently shipped to Canada. I thought it was some BS because I'd heard nothing about it on the news. So I did a Web search on the phrase "Secret U.S. mission hauls uranium from Iraq"

Dozens of hits. The source appears to be the AP. The MSNBC article is pretty thorough.

550 metric tons of the stuff. All supposedly kept quiet for security reasons (which would be understandable).

Anyone heard this on the news?
