I absolutely believe that there is a higher power looking down on us. In fact, I'm counting on it.

Yes, politicians are politicians. You're right, it has been a long time since we've had a true statesman. But don't give up. Don't ever give up. Believe me, I can get so frustrated with our politicians and our system.

Just think, if every single apathetic person who currently doesn't vote and probably has no real clue about local, national, and geo-politics were to just spend a half hour a day, every day reading about local, national, and world events; what a difference it would make. Would they be truly up on events? No. But they would be a lot more informed than they currently are.

As much as politicians suck, and they do, we really have to look into the mirror. We the people are ultimately responsible for the state of our country. It is up to us, we the people to do something about it. For those who are looking for the government to fix their problems, truly they are the most screwed up.

All of us can make a difference; every single one of us. I will never stop fighting the good fight. Even if I don't see eye to eye with you at times, or my other fellow citizens; I will never quit on you and the rest of my fellow citizens. I hope that you and the rest of my fellow citizens won't ever quit on me...
