In my eyes and I'm sure in yours, they looked like full fledged wars! They were actually referred to as "police actions". I've been mad about that nonsense for years.

Constitutionally, wars are supposed to be declared by Congress. If they are not, they become called something else. Remember that the Korean war was fought under the UN flag. A friend of mine who signed over after WWII, arrived at his destination, saw the UN flag above the US flag and resigned immediately.

We were sold the UN on the basis that there would be no more wars. What a crock!
