The non-taxpayers will always vote for largesse from the public treasury. There are fewer and fewer taxpayers these days and more and more on the dole.Many of the seniors drying for this "socialized medicine" insurance are receiving Soc. Sec. and paying very few taxes. They're old enough to know better, because they should remember the time when the less gov't interference, the lower the price.......in every field.
When Medicare came to us (thank you, Lyndon Johnson) it was sold as the answer to everyone's problems. Look where we are with that today. We were better off paying $5-$15 for an office call and in most cases, the receptionist was the doctor's wife. The doctor's office today, with all the forms to fill out, billing to be done, etc., looks more like a corporate office. See what happens if you go in with a hangnail. LOL
The non-taxpayers are probably going to get us again this time around, too.
