Sure 'nuff, you got flagged! So I thought I'd drop in to respond.
All I can say is "Cool!". I'd love to see something like that! I actually thought I did a couple of times, only to find that one was a massive meteor coming in, and the other was a low orbit satellite.
Keep in mind that I was talking seeing something like a parked alien craft on an AFB while there on business. That guy signed his life away before being allowed in.
I have little problem with UFOlogy - it's as believeable as many other things people subscribe to - dedicate their lives to - IMO. I'm not suggesting you are a UFOlogist, but I don't doubt that you have seen something "interesting".
BTW, there was a classified-cargo launch on a Titan III (I think, it was announced on the evening news last night - to give the locals a heads-up) last night/this morning at 3 AM from Vandenberg. Really loud for several minutes (5-10), and I'm at least 30 miles from the launch site. I actually got up to look, and saw nothing in the clear sky. It may have been too far out already, as sound moves slower than that thing was going. I haven't heard anything yet today, but I did notice a strong glow on the horizon in the direction of the probable launch site (South Base). Failed launch? Low level destruct? I've seen 'em before, once while on base. Scary stuff. The propellants, just lingering fumes, can kill you.
