At least you had mats! When I was a kid, growing up attending Catholic school, we had a practice gym that was a converted church (i guess), and made into several rooms, i.e library, kitchen, etc. One of the rooms was the size of a racket ball court with 2 baskets hung on opposite walls. Layups were painful! LOL Miss those days.
