Although not completely overlooked in the discussions (but perhaps not given enough thought), Even thought ARHMY`s been mentioned, AMD keeps coming to mind as a company who would have a BIG BIG interest in watching the proceedings very closely.

I`d like to not discount any type of move from them if in fact we get the green light on the Higgins/Moore issue.

If Intels` chip has 336 clocking, would it be safe to say that AMD`s clocking is likewise? Anyone spoke with JW on this?

Patriots best interest in all of this (and in terms of share price and leverage) is to stay neutral and resist overtures.

Assuming AMD does infringe - just think about the dynamics of things if they felt threatened enough to decide on getting active in this foray...It would be a slap in the face for them to pay their competitor a license fee.

If Intel controlled the 336, they would indirectly control AMD`s revenues and market share, putting a joint lock on their ability to compete....would this constitute a monopoly?

Assuming we get ever so lucky as to slip past Fogel, I want this sucker to turn into a free for all
