IMO asking Leckrone to sit on the BOD would IMO telegraph that PTSC has a weakness in strategizing and executing a business plan on its own.
Quite possibly the suggestion was made at some point in the past to completely merge and was turned down, hence the divisional exercise we see (TPL/NewCO/PTSC). PTSC must feel it has a marketable product in Ignite. I just wish they`d get going on building a team (another Q for them at the SHM)....
Regarding Leckrone`s thought process, PTSC has had many years of collaboration, dogfights and wranglings with Leckrone to understand his drive and business potential. His demonstrated abilities allowed him to pretty much eat PTSC`s lunch in the litigation/Joint agreement negotiaions.
For now, I see PTSC wanting to stay separate, but equal - we`ll see how long that lasts.
Thoughts?
