he is no johnny come lately basher. IMO he is a long time invester who has contrarian views with regard to giving away our cash by way of dividends as a business model. I would agree with him there, as the pps would only appreciate to the amount of the worthwhile return % and retreat after the ex-date. The recent .04 held us well around 1.60 for a 2.5% return. I don`t think that is what any of us want either. I would argue with him that recurring royalties are part of the plan, that Ignite/Inflame are possible(look for 8k`s 45-50 days after AMD qtrs.)and who knows what else is planned. As far as announcing the .04 Div. prior to having the cash in hand I can only think that Management was trying to keep us propped. But I certainly questioned it...didn`t you? We were heading for a nose dive when news came on the 9th. Now if Greg is correct... monies were then paid and we should get the 8k we need to bounce. IMO this downward trend is a direct result of no news(normal), the div. with confusion as to whether or not we recieved the Casio/Fujitsu money. If we didn`t...negative impact on pps.If we did and paid 15 mil div....neg.impact. Newspaper article coming close to quoting Pohl as saying no royalties for latest MMP licensees...neg.impact(That articles` 400+mil shares# incl. warrants, so should be fully diluted ,not OS.) Add 21 mil shares to O.S...neg impact. BTW ptscman...I spoke to Frank Hawkins to verify these shares being added to OS. and other questions about S/L. Said he`d find out. 2wks. and no answer. Sorry to ramble on. Anyway Ron, you`re a good man...just think mvaar deserves better. joe
