There are other explanations which are much more supported by the technical data. Yesterday, you said that you would not believe any other explanation than insiders were buying on ``news``. That forecloses the other explanation and the opportunity to learn. To my thinking your logic is flawed in two ways: first, the previous announcements were not signaled by increased volume prior to the actual release, secondly, the price action in the last week can be accounted for by technical factors( i.e. balancing of buyers and sellers with a slight bias to the buy side). Now, if you keep saying that news is coming you will be right eventually but that doesn`t mean that the price action predicted it. Buyers and sellers are at a stalemate waiting for more news/information to tip it one way or another.
