Pretty funny! Reminds me of a ``near heart failure event`` I had a few years ago, and, ironicly, it involved PTSC. My broker had recorded my PTSC buys/sells in my margin account, not my cash account. So they took corrective action, and I start getting Confirmation Notices in the mail reversing all my past trades in the margin account, then re-issuing in my cash account. That was alarming enough!
One of the new cash sell confirmations was in error. It indicated that I had sold some giant number of shares of PSTC, not PTSC. This happened in December of the year, just before they were to produce tax reporting. So here I sit with a supposed short term capital gain of some $1.2 million! After a near melt down, I prodded the broker to hurry up and fix it. Pins and needles till it was done. I DIDN`T want to have to deal with the IRS on this!
