Best strategy for thwarting a takeover is to put the share in protective hands....dumping them out on the market allows for the most fickle of us shareholders to buy and dump....It won`t thwart a takeover, just make it more expensive for the company to get us....unless the buyers want to buy some bashers to control the SP.
