Personally, I`d just like to see a share buy-back program put into play. It would reduce the float and demonstrate company confidence going forward. It`s simply the best use of the cash on hand IMO.
Assuming (yah, I know) that they could accomplish a buy-back at today`s prices, and assuming they`ve got some $20M laying around, they could remove a third of the float. But, of course, as soon as they announced the program, we`d move up. But still, a third of the float is within reason.
Splits in any direction are problematic IMO. I`ll take a stock buy-back over any other scenario, including buy-outs/acquisitions, dividends, or even a push of the Ignite button (realizing the lack of success in the past).
