I am not saying I believe anything is going to be announced regarding Sony in this quarterly report. However it is not out of the realm of possibility. If a significant event occurs after the balance sheet date and before the report is issued (in our case between Novemebr 30 and now) it would need to be disclosed in the footnotes of the financial statements, not the earnings statement as pointed out by hallodallo`s post. It is possible that they need to research what a strictly defined significant event is as there could be a myriad of circumstanes in this regard - as an example:

An agreement in principle on a license with Sony, but no dollar agreement yet.

An agreement to license, but with certain contingencies to be met.

An agreement to license, but no agreement of recurring royalties.

An agreement to license, but not an agreement on what ``products`` are covered.

I think you get my drift.

I reiterate, I think the chances are slim that the above is the case. However, it`s better than no chance.
