In the context of sanctions against Chinese companies, I ask that you bring up the following case in which a small group of patent-holders is trying to protect patents that many major companies such as Apple and Intel have licensed many years ago.
The unlicensed use of this technology, by many electronics companies, has massively diluted the revenues rightfully due to the patent-holders. This is a true all-American invention, started not far from Silicon Valley.
Getting this drawn-out case into the Senate/Congress formal records may add further weight to the drive to re-instate the related sanctions, even though it may be too late to save the patent-holders, who are close to bankruptcy. The revenue that could be awarded the aggrieved patent-holders could reach as much as $100,000,000.
