I have been noticing the increased volume as well. Why would anyone want to buy more, and even pay more? It seems to me that a demand is causing the price to rise, unless it is some sort of manipulation.

Now do the excersize in dollars or euros and see if the numbers create the same wow factor......

Not so exciting, IMO, unless you consider percentages of increased value and the potential of something bigger brewing.
