They state the suit is against TPL in US District Court Northern CA.
NEC alleges the patents are invalid due to double-patenting and that one of the patents should be barred from litigation under the doctrine of res judicata, since TPL allegedly dismissed claims against NEC for that patent on two occasions.

Fujitsu highlights 12/5/05 article
The suit is against Patriot and Moore in US District Court Northern CA.
They are asking for a declaratory judgement from the court that its products do not infringe the patents.
Immediately after Fujitsu filed the others (Toshiba, NEC, Matsushita, JVC) followed suit.
