I agree Ron. In any critical meeting I always prefer face-to-face, whites of the eyes, so to speak. The glances, hesitations, nervous tics, finger twiddling, interactions with others in the room ..... subtle triggers like these for a deeper dive are easily missed in a videoconference. If our production consumer-facing or employee-facing application systems had critical problems I'd set up a war room and a round table. Quite often the person with the brightest idea would be the quiet, polite, one who was overshadowed by egos and loud voices. I would watch for that and make sure she or he got the time to speak.
