Given, when doing a presentation you want to keep the slides at the minimum possible, but still remain relevant:
1) I would have liked to have seen detail on the patents, in order to underscore their significance to the industry - not readliy apparent to the money boys, and unless they have an Engineering background, Pohl`s verbal detail may be lost on them...
2) Ignite Benchmark tests - list the competitors and give GRAPHICAL COMPARISONS. If we`re trying to sell a product, pump it up. Ignite far exceeds their capabilities - Underscore their significance of the product.
Unless it`s by design, they`re telegraphing themselves as an IP licensing machine first, followed by some dabbling with their Ignite. Upon further thought, the IP has gotten them farther than their silicon, so I guess they have to dance with the partner that they`ve taken.
To be fair, I think its good PR to get Patriot in front of this type of audience, but I just don`t think (looking at the slides anyway) theres enough power in the message. Over the years, I havee seen dozens and dozens of presentations, 1st line through Executivelevel. I may be discounting their efforts unfairly, but this is at best a mid-level shot. This is where a company conveys it`s essence.
Again, the show could be condensed (# of slides) and be more graph related and still have far more impact.
The true test will be in the number of probing questions asked, and if they use the full Q&A time.
