It is a pity that the same patent system which many of the top tier infringers used to achieve their success is the very same one that they want to dismantle behind them to preclude others from achieving their success. Independent inventors and small entities are simply being blocked from markets (or simply crushed) by the big boys legal departments.

Steve Jobs famously said “Good artists, copy, great artists steal” Coming from the “Oracle of Apple” it seems to have become company policy. This conceding that through stealing, their products are excellent and often better than anything copied, (or stolen).

The problem in the present case is that the enabling technology is at the base and well hidden from view is a key element of their and other companies success. Stealing at such a level is even easier, unfortunately.

Sad situation but It seems that it is not going entirely unnoticed by everyone in society.
