I realize that he is a lawyer and that lawyers are inherently adverse to making statements of any kind, however since one of the BoD members has reportedly stated such intent, it would at least be somewhat reassuring.

The lack of communication from the company is, as has been stated many times here, quite frustrating. The company is the electrical equivalent of a diode.
