I wouldn't advise PR which is cocky, inflamatory or negligent...

But I think well thought informative PR explaining current development, direction, vision and future opportunity on a monthly basis would only help.

Nothing wrong with that and I don't thik it would hurt...because that's what successful companies seem to do...
