Law360, New York (September 09, 2013, 4:02 PM ET) -- A U.S. International Trade Commission judge ruled Friday that Amazon.com Inc., Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Nintendo Co. Ltd. and several other companies do not import consumer electronics that violate a Technology Properties Ltd. LLC microprocessor patent.
Administrative Law Judge Judge E. James Gildea issued his initial determination, finding that more than a dozen companies do not infringe asserted claims in TPL's patent. The ITC has been investigating TPL's claims that tablets, smartphones, e-readers and other electronics infringe its patent.
