For example, the Kindle Fire sells for about $150 on average I believe. From what I can find, they've sold about 7M of them per year. That's a little over $1B in sales. It apparently costs more to make the Kindle than they sell it for, so it's clearly their loss leader to get people to buy content and accessories, rather than their big profit maker itself. They allegedely admit to $57M in liability if infringement is found.

Let's say that you rule positively for us, then if TPL/PTSC settles for $60M, you've solved the problem once and for all, kept Amazon's business going strong, and all for a mere $9 per unit sold for one year of sales.
