I am bored and I do not any more wine. So here is a humorous story I read somewhere for your amusement. I hope no one will be offended nor sue me.

There is a small village in Poland where the people are very poor. They are very dependent on just one cow for the milk the town needs. They got together and decided they needed to get a younger cow. They discovered that they could get a young cow from Moscow for 2,000 rubles or they get a cow from Minsk for 1,000 rubles. Being poor they decide to get the cow from Minsk.

The new cow was wonderful, providing substantial milk for everyone. The towns people decided to retire the old cow. It was a wonderful barbecue. (How else do you retire a cow?)

The town elders started thinking and thought that they shouldn’t be so dependent on just one cow. So they pooled what little money they had and rented a bull for one week, that is all they could afford.

Day after day the bull would make advances on the cow but she just ignored the bull and walk away from him. It was now late Friday and the town had the bull for only a day and a half before they had to return the bull. Concerned they went to a local Rabbi who was known for his wisdom. They explained to the Rabbi that they wanted to start a heard and rented this bull at great expense. But each time the bull made an advance on the cow she would reject him and just walk away. “Rabbi, what should we do?” the asked.

The Rabbi took all this in and thought about it. He sat there stroking his long beard, pondering the situation. Finally, he spoke. “You got this cow from Minsk, didn’t you?”

The townspeople never mentioned where they got cow from. Astonished the towns people asked the Rabbi, “How did you know?” The Rabbi replied “My wife is from Minsk?”
