How does the trial work?

Is there any specific protocol for a multi-respondent trial? Does the judge go respondentyi-by-respondent? Does the judge go by claim construction one at a time, assessing impact on each respondent? Would each decision be published as it is made, or is nothing announced until there are no decisions left to make?
