99% chance? I recall Greg Bailey saying something about how voltage controlled oscillators have been around before the 336 patent (parent 790 patent) was filed in 1989. I also seem to recall Mr. Bailey saying something about how TPL/PTSC attempting to claim architectures that were developed prior to the 336.
