FWIW
I camn only two ways a company having a rising share price.
1) A company can demonstrate a reasonable revenue stream and expanding growth in its business sector. This usually means developing new products for additional revenues.
2) A company have a program of regular dividends based on income.
I don't see 1. happening. We have tried to expand with M&A before with a couple of CEOs and none have worked out. I think the Bod has at least recognizing that by not seeking out a new CEO and reducing the number of directors.
If we get favorable rulings from both ITC and NDCA resulting in numerous significant settlements then 2. is the only scenario where we may see a rise in share price. PTSC could reorganize similar to a REIT whereby it would payout 90% of its income in the form of diviends. This would have a distinct advantage for PTSC in that they would not have to pay taxes on the income. Investors would then be attracted to PTSC as a source of income at a fairly low cost of investment. Demand for the stock would rise significantly causing upward movement in the share price. Basic law of supply and demand.
I can not see any other way to a higher share price. We do have a limited history where dividend payouts saw a rise in share price to $2/share whith minor dividends ($.02 and $.04). The history of trying to growth the company by seeking growth via investments in M&A is dismal.
So after 11 years into this "wandering in the desert" hopefully we will soon be delivered to the promise land. And I can cash out with a nice profit and finally leave this thing behind.
