sometimes it is how and/or with the attitude something is said that ruins what value there may have been in the message.
....kind of like a shareholder whom goes to the annual meeting and addresses the podium with the same repeated phrase over and over and over...15 times? 17 times?

when no respect was intended nor given. childish and rude in my opinion. and, an embarrassment to be associated with this person being a fellow shareholder. ...as my friend says...not someone you invite home to dinner.
if a person fancies himself/herself as a business person...a good place to start would be to conduct themselves with the decorum with which a business person normally conducts themselves.
