Now it is quite possible they are using a beceem mips chip. Mips has been around since 1981 and I doubt infringes. Interesting though! Mips has a version that has been redesigned by a chinese company and probably sierra is using. And who has any idea of what is in those chips. corrections welcome- More research is required
