The reasoning behind the statement in my previous post was this:
"seeing things that haven't been made public yet,and are taking the opportunity to BUY BACK some of the float"..
To take one instance as an example of something that was not made public..
Oracle news has been released on a limited basis..
To PTSC S/H's,,BUT no release was made so far,to the general public..
Further for most of the Licenses agreed to, there has been no explicit release of the amount of money involved.
It would,in my opinion be reasonable to assume that PTSC's BoD has been aware of these dollar amounts as well as the specific terms of payment.
This would make it possible for the BoD to conduct additional BUYBACKS..
My own preference would be, for a dividend distribution to be made, instead of any more buybacks. We have waited long enough to see some return on our investment.
Since the Buyback choice would reduce the float and thereby increase the value of the float,
it would,,in my opinion, not provide the same degree of value as would a dividend payout.
Nor would it make us nearly as happy as we would be with a DIVIDEND. IMO..
