Will this BOD and Leckrone do the right thing and let the money get to the bottomline and be redistributed to us?

If you believe that they will just wait and if the MMP is successful you will win.

If you don't, it is your money invested and do whatever you think you need to do. Is it better to do this before the MMP makes the money or after?

You can only chase the carrot so far before you realize that it is so close but always remains just out of reach.
