Assuming that the confidential licensee is Apple (which has never been confirmed by TPL or PTSC)

Would it be valid to say that the companies named in the ITC complaint are direct competitors of Apple?

Does Apple have products that could easily replace the products of the alleged infringers?

Would it serve Apple well to have those companies' products barred from being sold in the US even for a defined period of time?

Is it possible that there might be some additional benefit to TPL if this happened?

Understand that there is no basis for this.....just talking out loud. Thoughts anyone?
