I hope your are right with $ 20 million, but I see the possibility that we see the old heights again where 30 or more million were paid. The reason for my statement is, because we try to get triple damages and this for at least the period they were informed of their infringement till now. (ZTE got their letter at September 18th 2006 and Nintendo got theirs at October 3rd 2005) So if Samsung also got their letter about 6 years ago, we could belong them for a huge number of products which were sold since then. Moreover we want to prohibit them from importing goods to the US. So the stacks are considerably higher than 6 or 7 years ago, were we "just asked" them to buy a license.

One more thing to think about: If TPL weren't absolutely sure that the '336 will stand in the Markman Hearing (or is it already decided?), why the hell would they sue 13 companies? It would be superior stupid to waste all the money for lawyers if we lose the 336. By the way: We sue Nintendo and ZTE concerning the 336 only for Claim 1, if I get this right. I don't have the markman ruling in front of me, is Claim 1 defined?

Said above brings me to the conclusion that this time we are in the stronger position. I hope I'm right.
