Nice to see a somewhat "offensive" PR for a change. I hope it's based on a solid and comprehensive strategy and not another haphazard approach to communications. With the recent 8K and now the PR, it at least seems as though things are progressing ..... the question will be is it in a substantially positive direction? I just hope the PR doesn't represent a desperation move. I'll take it optimistically but with caution. As with everything, follow through and positive execution will be the key to judging what it really means and that's certainly needed to create a sustainable appreciating share price.

With that said, we can learn a little bit from this PR and the upcoming 10K. As of the Ford license, we "knew" there had been at least 94 licensees of the MMP. Since this PR puts the CURRENT licensee total at under 100 with the "nearly 100" language, it seems safe to say there hasn't been a flurry of licensing activity that would be included in the quarter that ended at the end of May, or that we're currently in, for that matter. At best, there could have been perhaps another 5 licenses signed that were NOT announced, since the end of February.

In a way, that's good as based on the announced licensees, we'll find out in about 3 weeks, how much Disney and Ford paid in aggregate, and will have to assume that there may or may not be any other companies that would be included in the Q4 MMP licensing numbers to spread that aggregate amount accross. This should give us an indication if there has been any significant upward movement in the license fees being collected.

In any case, it at least "feels" better to hear some aggressive posturing from the MMP team. Hopefully, we'll gain some additional clarity in the coming days & weeks as to what the 8K agreement from the other day really signifies. Also, while I doubt there's been any final resolution to the outstanding '336 issue as far as the Markman goes, I find it interesting that our side would posture so strongly about the results so far.

Still, "hoping" for the best. Never a comforting investment position.
