The priority date I believe in contained in the oath that Moore took when application is filed. So it does appear that the patent expired earlier than it should have.

The oath in the 148 file indicates priority to application 08/484918 June 7, 1995. I think Laurie may be correct.

Hopefully Laurie will get an answer from PTSC that might shed more light on it.
