Totally missing the point. Not doing any comparison. If you agree with Ron's thinking regarding the long term share price being affected primarily by company performance, then it shouldn't matter whether they issue this pr Friday after the bell, or Tuesday morning, or Sunday afternoon, or Monday at midnight. The only difference might be that some people are/were not able to trade a short term pop.

Or maybe you can explain to me the long term affects of issuing the pr Friday after the bell. I'm all ears.
