I`m making reference to his usefulness in a ``placeholder`` role...his involvement, investment and influence was nil.
I kinda feel bad for being so hard about this - he`s probably a nice, bright guy who can run a company very well. But his usefulness to Patriot (IMHO) was he was corporate insurance for the majority board members. He wan`t going to do anything that would rock the fundamental structure, nor alter the overall direction of strategy for the company at that point in time.
