Why did PTSC change the language in press releases?

Press Releases After the Settlment contain the following language

March 2012- Disney

Feb 2012- Tyco

Jan 2012- Extreme Networks, Lottomatica, TE Connectivity

Nov 2011- Cymer

Headquartered in Carlsbad, California, Patriot Scientific Corporation (PTSC) is the co-owner of the Moore Microprocessor Patent Portfolio(TM) licensing partnership

Prior to Settlement

May 2011- Stryker

The Moore Microprocessor Patent Portfolio contains intellectual property that is jointly owned by the privately-held TPL Group and publicly-held Patriot Scientific Corporation (OTCBB: PTSC - News).

Is there a signficant difference in co-owning a licensing partnership vs jointly owning intellectual property?
