Thanks for making this effort. It is nice to get a peek inside the door and a glimpse of the machinations at work. Sounds generally positive. That said, I am not sure that "bailed out" is exactly the right term. I am not an appologist for them but it seems TPL made investments in the development of the MMP technology which serves both PTSC and TPL and TPL did take point on now 18 re-exams did they not?.(unless you know someone on the BoD capable of making legal arguments before the USPTO.) On that topic, there is still present a dysfunctional (non-functional?) BoD, which is not likely to make much desired and needed (IMO) institutional investors feel all warm and fuzzy, especially with the BoD members reported attitudes toward investment in the company they are overpaid to shepherd.
