While it seems that your theory may be a possibility, it could also mean that as part of the settlement with PTSC, was that PTSC has the right to take control of the Litigation against infringing companies if TPL fails to provide and perform to a certain level of accomplishments.

And or monies have again been found to be diverted, and or there has been some kind of breach of trust.

Or…. PTSC and TPL are merging as one entity which would be great in my IMO.
