Message: To be CLEAR - $42M estimate is to PDS - NOT PTSC

nurse... I sincerley appologise if my 'Quarterlies' post was taken personally.. I truly did not mean it that way... I understand the call for an explanation as to where the number came from.. but I'm sorry, I will not share where I got the info.. Each forum member will have to make up their own mind to accept it or not.. Personally I believe it 100%... Actually.. if Apple licensed in 2010, as Lamberts has hypothesized:

using his MMP compilation from PTSC's Quarterlies as a guide:

http://agoracom.com/ir/patriot/forums/discussion/topics/523722-the-official-unofficial-license-list-lol/messages/1658477#message

you have to go back all the way to Q4 '09 to have a Q where PDS collected over $10M (and $6M was from Sanyo)... Q2 '10 PDS collected $8.7M (6 licensees).. You have to go back all the way to Q1 '09 to get a significant $16M of PDS revenue.. All the other Qs in that time frame range b/t 0 and $2.8M... until Q3 of '11 ($7.44M 3 unknown licesees).. So, Where is the big Apple fee to PDS? There isn't one.. $5.2M...

From the first link:

Typically, PTSC recognizes MMP license revenue when the licenses are signed. However, I believe, that due to the lawsuit, PTSC held off recognizing that fee as the MMP allocation was in dispute. It's my opinion, that not until the 3rd fiscal quarter of 2011 (quarter closing Feb of 2011) was the Apple license revenue recognized. It's my belief that at that time it was agreed to alter the MMP allocation, but that it remained under $6M

I concur Nick.. My guess is Q3 '11 also

ps- you're good

.

My sincere regards nurse
