I discovered this through researching Wind River, which was developing for the PTSC chip, and remember seeing it go from 33 cents to seven bucks from fall 1999 to spring 2000, and wishing I'd trusted my research.

I remember missing several moves and making only two because of the perpetual uncertainties regarding Falk family, market for the "Java chip", Silicon Valley tech crunches, etc., etc. Then losing what I made on later losses, because I still believed in 2005-6 that a real effort towards success was being made.

Meantime, and as all those who contested them were betting on, the patent expiry dates have been drawing closer.

Most of the rise of the last several days might be attributable to market maker/swing trading, whatever you prefer to call it. How much money changed hands, 200K, 300K? Not much for those who do this professionally.

I'll be happy if I almost break even. If it's better than that for us long time owners, I'll be happier, but I will not count on it. If it keeps rising into the green for me, I'll treat it with a trailing stop, and if that gets hit, and then it reverse and goes even higher, I won't look back. Enough life gone, bled away by the principles of such as the BOD.
