I guess someone should have told Patriot that TPL was not its partner when it was stated such as early as 2005. I understand that the JV was for Phoenix Digital Solutions, however, the world may perceive TPL as Patriot's partner and shareholders certainly understand the influence that TPL has had on PTSC over the years. If you read through this old article (Oct 2005), it was interesting to see that Pohl commented on the original PTSC lawsuit in Oakland, whereby, PTSC was seeking damages in excess of several hundred million. Aren't we lucky to have teamed up with TPL and Roger Cook.

Patriot said it would rely on its joint development partner, the TPL Group, to manage patent infringement litigation on its behalf.
