I realize that your post was intended for Ron and I certainly mean no offense when I ask why you think that referring to someone by their first name implies an intimate relationship. I sometimes refer to people by their first names without ever having met them. For example, I have often referred to Chuck Moore as Chuck. Don't know him, never met him but feel totally comfortable referring to him as Chuck. I refer to Herman Cain as Herman but never met him either. (love him by the way).

Just as I would feel comfortable referring to Greeneyes as Rebecca, even though I don't know her, I believe this is a common thing for people to do. However, perhaps Ron does have an intimate relationship with Charlie.
