You forget how this works? Apparently, people just post EXTREME exagerations to the negative, and then complain.
You say:
"Fritter away a hundred million on bad investments..."
Please explain this miracle of mathematics! If you're talking about M&A, I believe the total cost for all was approx. $17.5M. Go ahead and throw in maintenance cost of the acquired entities and the loss on ARS. Maybe $20M total? But then there is tax consideration of the write-downs and write-off of business expenses/losses. Result, maybe $12M actually "lost" if you value Holocom and PDSG at zero.
I'm in no way suggesting that a potential $12M loss is good. It is pathetic. What I'm stating is that twelve million is VERY different from a hundred million. Bashing?
This is like someone stating as fact that PTSC has enjoyed $1.2Billion in gross revenues from the MMP (similar multiple). Would that be hyping?
I deleted your post (as opposed to reporting, processing, warning) because your post contained a serious mathematical error. Either that or you were bashing. I opted for "error".
But since you insist, I respond above. Now you have the opportunity to correct your error, or demonstrate how PTSC could have possibly lost $100M with only $20M invested.
Maybe you consider the Dividends an "investment"? Okay then, now you're up to around $50M.
