Lately there has been news about companies buying other companies to gain ownership of patents, and whether or not there is a "bubble" brewing in such.
Got me to wonder what would it take for the MMP to get picked up by a Google or an Apple or a Microsoft?
If (guessing here) there are 430 million PTSC shares in float, what would it cost to gain 50% ownership in the MMP?
1. 430M x .24c / share = $103,200,000.00
2. 430M x .48c / share = $206,400,000.00
3. 430M x .96c / share = $412,800,000.00
4. Double the last amount to take out Leckrone and Moore = $825,600,00.00
So for less than $1 Billion a company could own the MMP, PDSG, TPL Group / Alliacense.
$1 Billion to an Apple or a Google or a Microsoft out of their cash-hording pockets - chump change to get "patents on water" and to then muscle others to pony up for licenses, or shut down production of thousands of products (something we've never had the cajones to do).
Leckrone and Moore could fight over their 50% but I bet everybody would be happy to split that $400+ Million in a manner to make everybody completely happy.
I'd take .48c /share to end this misery, but of course I'd be happier to take .96c /share or more if offered.
What would you sell your shares for?
