Message: Clarification

In response to Rosewood's post, and as a point of apparently needed further clarification, if an Agora user has a concern or question about Hub Leader behavior, is it the intent that such concerns/questions be directed to Agora Staff via:

"On a final note, any questions to AGORACOM, are kindly requested be forwarded to our General Inbox - or you can email us directly at contactagora@agoracom.com."

This is what I suggested as advice to users yesterday, and appears to be your advice today. Please verify that this is your intent, as it would appear some are concerned that voicing such concerns/questions is not permitted at all.

Along similar lines, if a user wishes to welcome someone back to the forum or offer a "goodbye" message, is the appropriate/desired method to use a Private Message for such, also as I suggested yesterday?

Also as a point of clarification, based on todays message, it could be easily interpretted that Hub Leaders who were "promoted organically through our automatic system of promotions, rather than appointment by our staff" have greater standing than those who were Appointed to the Hub Leader position. Is this Agora's position on the matter?

Finally, I note and appreciate your continued emphasis on the importance of adherence to the Six Rules of Use. Is it Agora's intent that existing Hub Leaders strickly enforce those rules? Or will it continue to be acceptable for Hub Leaders to process reported valid, blatant violations without issuing a Warning? It would seem that processing such with an "Ignore Violation" sends the message that such user behavior is permissible, and thus will be repeated not only by that user, but others as well, and the rules rendered moot.

IMO responses to the above will be helpful for everyone's understanding.

Respectfully,

SGE1
