And you do understand the meaning of the word "ignorant", right? It means you are not aware, cognizant, knowledgeable (your choice) because you have not had the opportunity to learn. It doesn't mean you're stupid. It is not an insult if you understand the meaning of the word.

Anyone who has not been an HL, and who doesn't have access to the Manage Violations page, IS IGNORANT as to what the boundaries are and what HL actions can be and have been taken by the various HLs past and present. It is THAT simple. If you find this insulting, that's just too bad.

Pointed out here today, in addition to in the past, is the proper way to voice concerns about a particular HL's actions. Take it to the "ultimate power"! That would be Agora Admin. They have complete visibility and have the power to act. If they believe I've acted improperly, they can either reverse specific actions or remove me from the position. And that would be perfectly fine with me. I just try to do my best and to be reasonable.

This entire thread violates the rules, and I welcome Warnings directed at me for my participation, as long as you are treated equally. My interest was in overcoming the obvious ignorance by providing some insight for those interested.

I don't profess to being the "perfect Hub Leader". It is a very difficult task if one takes it the least bit seriously. There have been occasions where I have taken action that I later regretted. There have also been many more occasions where I could have taken action and let it slide (regardless of poster), and later regretted that as well. Nobody is perfect. But I will say that IMO I perform the function AT LEAST as well as anyone past or present.

As for doing away with HLs and rules of use, I fear some forget that these things are what make Agora different and preferable over the alternatives.
